Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in meal preparation for special events and catering services as required. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Provide support during service hours, including plating and serving meals to guests as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Previous experience in meal preparation or serving is advantageous but not essential.
