Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes, making adjustments as necessary. Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes. Provide exceptional service when serving meals, ensuring customer satisfaction. To adapt meals to meet the needs to texture modified diets

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Passion for food and commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Hours are 12 hour shifts start at 8am finish at 18.00

Alternate weekends are required
