We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments, contributing to an exceptional guest experience in our hotel environment.
Duties
Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean linens, towels, and garments.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items according to established procedures.
Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by following sanitation guidelines and performing routine cleaning tasks.
Manage inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Skills
Proficiency in laundry operations including washing, drying, and folding techniques.
Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards.
Experience with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
