About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
Care Home Manager
to lead a prestigious new build care home in Liverpool. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated leader to ensure the home delivers high-quality care and support, meets financial targets, and maintains full occupancy. You will provide strong leadership, support and motivate staff, and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and CQC standards.
You will be supported by Operations and Central teams, alongside an in-house Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality, and Housekeeping teams to maintain smooth operations and excellence in care.
About the Home:
The home provides 24-hour nursing, dementia, and residential care for up to 56 residents, delivering personalised care for long and short-term stays. Facilities include a family room and bistro area, set in a tranquil and welcoming environment overlooking Prince's Park.
Reports To:
Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction to the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy.
Ensure the home meets all regulatory requirements and maintains excellent standards of care.
Manage the home's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs controlled.
Develop and implement marketing plans to maintain full occupancy and promote the home's services.
Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns.
Skills and Attributes:
Previous experience managing a nursing home.
Proven knowledge of CQC standards with ability to work towards achieving Outstanding.
Confident communicator with strong leadership skills.
Commercially astute with a focus on occupancy and growth opportunities.
Education and Qualifications:
Preferably NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential).
