Care Home Manager

Location:

Archers Park - Archer Road, Farringdon, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear, SR3 3DJ

Salary:

up to 50k basic + benefits

As a Care Home Manager, you'll be instrumental in leading our team to provide top-tier care for elderly residents, including those with dementia, as well as offering respite care. Your role will be key in ensuring that each resident receives personalised care that promotes independence and choice, while creating a supportive, compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained across all services.

Team Development:

Lead, inspire, and motivate a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care and improve the lives of residents.

Care Planning:

Ensure that individual care plans are created and followed, catering to each resident's specific needs and preferences.

Regulatory Compliance:

Monitor and maintain CQC standards, ensuring that we continue to deliver high-quality care and meet all regulatory requirements.

Strategic Focus:

Use your expertise to drive initiatives that improve the home's performance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About You:

As an experienced and dynamic leader, you'll bring:

A proven track record of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.



Experience in budgetary control and managing operational costs.



Strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.



Excellent people management skills, with a focus on staff development and motivation.



A Level 5 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
