Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior In-Home Care professional to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will be responsible for developing care plans, supervising care staff, and ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement personalised care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients. Supervise and support care staff to ensure high standards of service delivery. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits. Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns promptly. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans as necessary. Foster a supportive environment that promotes independence and dignity for seniors.

Experience

Previous experience in senior care or a related field is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on empathy and understanding. Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes is advantageous. A valid driving licence is required to facilitate travel between client locations. Experience in a care home setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
