Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times. Implement and monitor individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Supervise and support junior staff, providing guidance and assistance as necessary. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of resident care and progress, utilising IT systems as required. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the care home environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential. Strong leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring others in a care setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with residents and their families. Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs. Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and documentation. A caring attitude with a commitment to enhancing the lives of elderly individuals in your care.
