As a Care Home Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring they live well in later life. What skills and experience will you need?
Experience in handling and administering medication
A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
At least 2 years' experience leading a team within a care home setting
Sound knowledge of MCA, DoLS, and Safeguarding procedures
A good understanding or practice of the Christian faith (desirable)
What will you be responsible for?
Putting residents at the heart of all care, ensuring their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
Managing the day-to-day care team to maintain high standards of care delivery
Supervising and supporting staff, ensuring their contributions lead to the smooth running of the service
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all those in our care
Building positive working relationships with all staff and external professionals, including GPs and community nurses
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for residents
Supporting the Registered Manager in providing leadership across all aspects of the care home, including catering, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration
