JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will be responsible for delivering comprehensive high quality training programs to our care home staff in 9 locations across the West Midlands. You will ensure that all staff are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, competence and confidence to provide outstanding care to our residents.
The role requires effective communication with exceptional interpersonal skills. The ability to deliver innovative and unique training to capture the interests of every learner.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
? Delivering training such as all aspects of health and social care induction, Moving and Handling, First Aid, Basic Life Support, update training etc. to implement the company training strategy within the group
? Ensuring statutory and mandatory training levels always meet compliance requirements and all new starters receive appropriate induction training.
? Collaborating with Head of Training, Directors, CEO and regional team to ensure training needs are identified and delivered effectively
? Carry out training audits
These duties are not exhaustive. Job holders may be asked to undertake other responsibilities, within their spheres of responsibility and competence
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
? Full UK Driving Licence, willingness to travel essential and occasional transporting staff to other homes to attend training
? PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification essential
? Moving & Handling Instructor & First Aid Training or be prepared to become a trainer in these areas
? To prepared to become a trainer in other subject areas as needed by the business essential
? Previous experience of delivering training, coaching and mentoring in a healthcare environment essential
? Skills in Power point, excel and word essential
? Skills and experience of developing training session, materials and resources essential
? Good knowledge around care home regulations and best practice
