We're looking for a

Care Navigation Supervisor

to help lead and support our reception team in a busy GP surgery.

This role is all about making sure patients are quickly and safely directed to the right care, and helping the team grow in confidence and skill. You'll work closely with our Practice Manager and receptionists, making sure our care navigation is consistent, safe, and effective.

We need someone who is

comfortable guiding others

, giving helpful feedback when things go wrong, and supporting people to improve. You don't need to know everything about primary care - we can teach you that - but you do need to be confident working with people, happy to supervise day-to-day work, and willing to step in when something needs correcting

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the care navigation function, supporting and guiding the reception team. Provide kind but clear feedback when things go wrong, helping the team learn and improve. Lead on care navigation training, both in groups and one-to-one. Work with the Business Manager to improve patient access and care navigation pathways. Use feedback and data to make patient journeys smoother and safer.

About You:

You're confident working with people and comfortable supervising day-to-day work. You can have honest, supportive conversations when things need to improve. You stay calm under pressure and can juggle competing priorities. You enjoy making systems better and helping others grow. Primary care experience is helpful but not essential - we can teach you the clinical bits.

Working Hours:

Flexible: Part-time (minimum 20 hours per week) or Full-time Surgery-based, working closely with our Practice Manager and reception team.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
