Job Description

We would like to invite team oriented candidates who are looking to work in a busy, fast paced, rewarding, patient facing environment. This role is at the heart of our daily services and is the face of our patient communications. We require a Team member from 08.00am to 5.00pm Monday and 2.00pm to 6.30pm on a Wednesday. Additional hours are available in conjunction with the above requirements.

Greeting and directing patients, visitors and contractors Managing, directing and prioritising appointment requests face to face and on the phone Strong teamworking ethic Communicating practice processes to patient and providing information packs Advising of and processing payments Directing/signposting patients to partner services Logging home visit requests Maintaining reception and patient areas Processing tasks logged on the clinical system Processing repeat prescriptions - after training Staffing the practice reception desk and telephone Chaperoning clinical staff on request
