Job Introduction
We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our Quality Team in Strategic Commissioning and Partnerships.
Our purpose in Adult Social Care is to enable people to stay as independent and well as possible for as long as possible. When people do need long term support, this is timely, proportionate, responsive, and good quality and enables people to continue to live their lives the way they want to.
The role of Care Quality Monitoring Officer is key to enabling and supporting the quality of services experienced. You will be keen to work closely with providers, bringing your knowledge and experience to support them to deliver new responses to meet the changing expectations of the people of Solihull.
We want people to have personalised care and support that exceeds their expectations and helps them to live a good quality of life. You will play a key part in helping to achieve this by ensuring compliance with standards, service specifications and care plans.
You will need to be able to work at pace, be a collaborative team worker and committed to delivering the best outcomes for people through your influence. We value colleagues who bring enthusiasm to deliver excellent care services, are resilient and motivated. You may have experience and skills developed in direct care provision, social care or health roles, or through commissioning and quality assurance. You will bring your knowledge of what matters to people who use care and support services, and how to enable providers to meet expectations.
In return, you will join a team in which mutual support and sharing of skills and expertise are important and where your contribution to improving lives through excellent social care will be valued.
We also offer:
A range of flexible working options
Generous annual leave entitlements with the opportunity to purchase up to 10-days additional leave per year
Access to our Employee Assistance Programme - a 24 hour independent, free and confidential advice and support service
Family and carer friendly policies
