Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Staff to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in assisted living, nursing homes, and specialised care for conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Our Care Staff play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support residents with daily activities such as meal preparation and feeding. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to ensure a safe environment. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individual care plans.

Experience

Previous experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, or senior care is advantageous. A background in caregiving or home care is beneficial for this role. Knowledge of first aid practices is preferred. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others. Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
