We are looking for a
Care Support Worker
to join our
Cardiac Cath Lab.
This is a
full-time role
, working 40
hours per week
, with flexible shifts (8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm on a rotational basis).
What You'll Do:
Support our nursing staff
in patient pre-assessment, admissions, and recovery for interventional cardiac procedures.
Help out in
Outpatient Cardiology
, assisting with
Bloods
and
Stress Echo Clinics
.
Take vital signs like temperature, pulse, respirations, and weight for patients' pre-appointment.
Perform key procedures, such as
taking bloods, performing ECGs
, and accurate documentation.
Maintain confidentiality while treating patients with the utmost
respect and dignity
.
Chaperone consultants
during various specialties.
What We're Looking For:
We need a
patient-focused Care Support Worker
who has an innate desire to help others and a keen interest in
cardiac care

skills and knowledge
you need!
Essential Requirements
Experience working as a Care Support Worker, Health Care Assistant, or Clinical Support Worker.
A
caring and compassionate attitude
with a real interest in providing outstanding care.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Desirable
Hold a
Care Certificate
qualification or minimum Level 2
NVQ in Health and Social Care
.
Experience in a healthcare setting, including
taking bloods
or performing
ECGs
is a bonus. Don't worry if you don't have experience--
full training will be provided
!
