The Role: Complex Care Support Worker.

Hourly Rate: 13.50 per hour.

Location

: Harrogate, HG2.

Shift Pattern:

Day shift times: 8am until 8pm*
Night shift times: 8pm until 8am*

Please note, we provide 24 hour around the clock care so they will mainly include 12 hour shifts and will include days, waking nights and alternative

weekends.

Contract Type:

Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the below contracts:

Full Time - 36 Hours Contract*

DBS: DBS preferred.

Driver with access to a vehicle: Preferred.

About the role:

As a team member, you will be responsible for providing specialised care to a gentleman with Cerebral Palsy. He is a wheelchair user and is registered blind, requiring hoist transfers, which will be assisted by a secondary staff member. This position offers one-on-one care, meaning you will work independently with the service user. A caring demeanour and a passion for encouraging the client to engage in activities and outings are essential. The person has a great fondness for football and a keen interest in technology. Additionally, he takes pleasure in going out for his lunch. He is eagerly anticipating the arrival of his new carer and the opportunity to build a positive and supportive relationship with them. A positive attitude and a friendly nature are key to succeeding in this role. Training:

At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding. Rest assured that you will be in the capable hands of our skilled and experienced nursing team at Josh's Care Company. Our nurses have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of nursing and care which will ensure that you receive the highest standard of training and support possible.
We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of complex care being an added advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our people's quality of life.
