Job Description

As a Care Worker, you will support older people through everyday care and practical support, helping them feel safe, listened to and comfortable in a place they can call home. Working day shifts, you will play an important role in supporting wellbeing, dignity and independence.

What your role will involve

Supporting personal care and daily living activities Building trusting, positive relationships with residents Supporting nutrition, hydration and overall wellbeing Acting as a key worker where required Maintaining accurate care records and documentation Ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming environment Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider team

About you

You are patient, dependable and bring warmth and compassion to your work. You may already have experience in care or be keen to develop a career in the sector. You will have basic IT skills, be willing to meet SSSC and PVG requirements, and either hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it. You will work in a way that respects and reflects the Christian values of CrossReach.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
