As a Care Worker with CrossReach, you will support older people to live with dignity, comfort and joy. What Your Day Could Involve

Acting as a key worker and supporting the development and review of care plans Providing personal care and supporting daily routines with kindness and respect Promoting wellbeing through physical, social and mental activities Working closely with colleagues, health professionals and families Helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment Keeping accurate records and contributing to team discussions

About You

You are compassionate, patient and committed to delivering person-centred care. You treat every individual with dignity and respect and value building trusting relationships. Ideally, you will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or be willing to work towards this with our support. You will have basic computer skills, be registered with the SSSC and be a member of the PVG Scheme. You will be committed to working within and upholding the Christian ethos and values of CrossReach.

As we do our work in Christ's name the job you have applied for requires you to have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010.


This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
