Care Assistant Duties Include:
Personal Care:
Assisting our clients with daily hygiene tasks and groomingHandling Equipment:
Manual handling equipment to assist clientsMeal Preparation:
Cooking meals, assisting clients with eating, and ensuring proper hydrationDomestic Tasks:
Housework, grocery shoppingRecord Keeping:
Documenting records of daily care visits accuratelyMedication Management:
Administering or prompting medication as prescribed, collecting prescriptionsEmotional and Wellbeing Support:
Providing social engagement, conversation, and emotional support. Encouraging participation in social activities, hobbies and accompanying them to appointments. Community visits. End of life.Essentials Skills & Requirements:
Communication: Good level of English both written and verbal
Empathy: Have a kind and caring nature
Patience & reliability
Teamwork: Liaising with healthcare professionals, family members and care teams to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care.
Work authorisation in the UK required
