Role Overview
As a Care Worker, you will provide compassionate, practical, and emotional support to clients. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and encourage independence while promoting wellbeing.
This position requires
completion of a mandatory two-week pre-employment training programme
to ensure you have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide outstanding care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred care and support tailored to each client's needs.
Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
Support with meal preparation, medication prompts, and household tasks.
Encourage and enable clients to participate in social and recreational activities.
Keep accurate and up-to-date care records in line with company procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries at all times.
Requirements
Essential:
Willingness and ability to complete
two weeks of full-time pre-employment training
prior to starting in the role.
Empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to supporting others.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
Previous care experience (professional or personal).
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Relevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care).
Pre-Employment Training
All successful applicants will undertake a
two-week, comprehensive training programme
covering:
Care standards and regulations
Safeguarding
Health & safety
First aid
Moving & handling
Medication awareness
Communication skills and person-centred planning
This training is
mandatory
and must be completed before employment begins.
You must be 19+
Have lived in the UK for the past 3 years
Not currently in education
Currently unemployed or in receipt of low wag (Under 25,750)
