Event Description
Dyfed Powys Police are offering an exciting opportunity for students to attend a "Career Familiarisation Programme 2025".
Dyfed Powys Police are one of only a very few forces across the country offering such an opportunity. Similar to work experience the Career Familiarisation Programme will offer students the unique opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes of a modern-day Police Service. We are of the largest forces geographically in England and Wales and encompasses a huge range of careers that many will be unaware of.
The idea behind this programme is to introduce the numerous career prospects within Dyfed Powys Police that might, until now, have escaped your consideration. There are a whole range of departments within the forces organisation which deal with everything from computer crime to forensic examinations to surveillance. The prospective students will engage in a 3 day programme with Dyfed Powys Police in July. The programme will be office based and will take place from 9am to 3:15pm on weekdays Monday-Wednesday.
