We are looking for a Careers Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to join GLT / Brakenhale School and become an integral member of the Brakenhale team. Main responsibilities:
Leading all staff and visitors to ensure they deliver career guidance
Deliver personalised careers guidance to students, helping them explore career options, further education, apprenticeships, and other employment pathways.
Advise the senior leadership team on policy, strategy and resources for career guidance including how they meet the Gatsby Benchmarks
Review, develop and evaluate career guidance appropriately
Conduct one-to-one interviews and group sessions to assess students' interests, skills, and ambitions
Provide data to the school, Ofsted and others, where necessary

You will need:
Level 6 Qualification in Careers Guidance (QCG) / Diploma in Careers Guidance, or (NVQ4) in Advice and Guidance or equivalent, or currently in the process of achieving those qualifications.
Studied to a minimum standard of GCSE (grad A-C / 9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths Experience of working in an office and data driven environment
Experience of working in a school environment
