ASA Recruitment are looking for dedicated Care Home Chefxe2x80x99s to take charge of our clientxe2x80x99s kitchen, preparing homely, well-balanced meals for our residents. *Free training on-site.Responsibilities include:*Prepare and serve meals that are tasty, wholesome, and tailored to residentsxe2x80x99 needs
*Plan weekly menus with variety and nutritional value
*Cater to specific dietary needs (e.g. diabetic, soft diet, allergy-aware)
*Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in line with regulations
*Manage kitchen inventory and place food orders
*Create a warm, friendly mealtime experience for residentsAbout You:*Previous experience in a similar chef or cook role (ideally in a care setting)
*Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 2/3 Food Safety Certificate preferred)
*A caring nature and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of older people
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Good communication and organizational skillsThe garnish?
