We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients in the care home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve, demonstrating patience and empathy while delivering personalised care.
Responsibilities
To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Senior Carer
To support and enable individuals to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual
To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as required, from time to time, to maintain and progress knowledge
Qualifications
Previous experience in care homes, home care, hospice care, or senior care is highly desirable.
Knowledge of first aid practices and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
Ability to manage challenging behaviours with compassion and professionalism.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks.
