Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance within a care home or home care setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively, ensuring that the physical and emotional needs of our clients are met. This role requires a proactive approach, as well as the ability to drive to various locations if necessary.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Implement and follow individualised care plans tailored to each client's specific needs. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients. Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed. Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required.

Experience

Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with care plans and home care practices is advantageous. Strong IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to ensure effective communication with clients and their families. A valid driving licence is desirable for transporting clients as needed.
