Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients, whether they are seniors, or individuals with specific health conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and will be skilled in various caregiving tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary. Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Assist clients in assisted living or hospice care settings as required. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.

Skills

Experience in senior care is highly desirable. Knowledge of dementia care techniques and patient care best practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively. Strong interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others. Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
Additional Requirements

Full UK driver's license with less than 6 points

Pay: 12.50-12.82 per hour
