You will be working as part of a focused team in maintaining the personal care needs of our residents, respecting their dignity and promoting their independence at all times. You will also ensure that our care services are of a consistently high standard and help in caring for our residents, and undertake other general day-to-day activities in our Home. Your role includes providing dignified personal care, assisting during mealtimes, and provide sensitive and appropriate support with various aspects of people's lives.
Beyond physical care, you'll also be a comforting and attentive listener. This role is varied, and every day is different, so being adaptable, and using your common sense and initiative are a 'must' for this role. You do not need to have worked as a Carer before applying to us, but all experience in this field will help.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals regarding resident needs and progress.
Document daily activities and any changes in a resident's condition accurately
