Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a home care environment. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in implementing care plans and fostering a supportive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Communicate effectively with clients and their families to understand their needs and preferences. Implement care plans tailored to individual client requirements, ensuring adherence to established guidelines. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, providing companionship during outings. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel. Support clients in engaging with their community and participating in recreational activities. Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety standards within the home care setting.

Requirements

Applicants MUST have a right to work in the UK as we do not offer sponsorships. Proven experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and families. Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately while being attentive to client needs. A valid driver's licence is preferred for getting from one visit to the next and transporting clients as required. Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and documentation is advantageous. A compassionate nature with patience and empathy towards clients is essential for success in this role.

Pay: 12.21-13.68 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 35 per week
