Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalised care tailored to their unique needs. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for those you serve.

Duties



Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Implement and follow care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Administer first aid as necessary and monitor clients' health conditions. Support behaviour management strategies for clients with specific needs. Assist with mobility and transportation, ensuring safe movement within the home or care facility. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Engage in hospice care when required, providing comfort during end-of-life stages.

Experience


Ideal candidates will possess experience in caregiving or related fields such as assisted living or case management. Familiarity with meal preparation, patient care techniques, and behaviour management is highly desirable. A background in nursing or previous work within a hospice or care home setting will be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing exceptional care to those in need.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
