Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals requiring care in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Administer medication as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities. Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Monitor clients' health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety of both the caregiver and the client.

Requirements

Previous experience in senior care, nursing homes, assisted living, or hospice care is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of first aid principles is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of clients. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for caring for others. Reliable transportation and a valid driving licence are required for this role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
