Join a dedicated team within Carers Support Pembrokeshire Service, working in partnership with local organisations to identify and support unpaid carers across Pembrokeshire. You'll provide vital information and guidance to help carers manage their roles and help to improve their wellbeing. This role gives you the opportunity to make a real difference in your community.

Working in partnership with other statutory, voluntary, and private sector organisations to identify carers throughout Pembrokeshire.
Provide information and support to carers enabling them to better manage the impact of their caring role.
Work with partners to ensure carers are supported to access other existing services.

Experience - Essential
Direct experience of working for a support service and achieving positive outcomes for beneficiaries
Experience of Information and advice giving
Working with and implementing policies, procedures and guidance.
Solution focussed / problem solving ability.
Experience - Desirable
Experience of networking and liaising with a range of statutory and voluntary organisations
Qualifications

A good standard of general education or ability to demonstrate relevant experience.
Level 3 Diploma in Advice & Guidance (or a commitment to achieve this)

NVQ/QCF in a relevant subject e.g., Health & Social Care

An empathetic, compassionate and supportive manner and an ability to deal with queries from individuals who are distressed in a sensitive manner.

An understanding of the statutory and third sector support service provision in Pembrokeshire.

Valid Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
