Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Working hours 8-10pm and 0600-0800 plus sleep in.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort. Monitor and document clients' health status, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medical guidelines. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.

Skills

Previous experience in nursing homes, care homes, or hospice care is highly desirable. Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in following care plans and documentation procedures. Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
