Job Description

Kew Park Estate is a private estate of 16 houses, built in 1979, sited between Kew Green (TW9 3AN) and the river. We are looking for an enthusiastic gardener/caretaker for the estate's two acre communal gardens, tennis court, gym and private road. Working hours are 37.5 per week

The position comes with a two bedroomed detached bungalow under license. The salary will reflect the rent free accommodation and no Council Tax or utility costs as these are borne by the employer. Off-street parking is provided.

There is a broad spectrum of residents, ranging from families with small children to individuals who travel overseas. As gardener/caretaker the applicant will be encouraged to take an active role in the improvement of the gardens overall, working with the seasons as appropriate. There will also be some maintenance work around the Estate. Daily duties include maintenance of gardens, general security presence together with daily refuse collection for recycling and some portering duties for the residents. The position requires that the successful applicant be professional and courteous to residents and their guests at all times. Gardening experience essential. References and DBS checks required. The position carries with it the use of all the Estate facilities. Pets allowed.
