Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced

Carpenter

to join ongoing project in Abergavenny

Key Responsibilities

Measuring, cutting, and fitting timber components with precision to achieve a high-quality internal finish. Installing doors, ironmongery, skirting boards, architraves, window boards, and decorative mouldings. Fitting kitchen units, stair balustrades, wardrobes, and other finishing joinery elements. Ensuring all finishes are smooth, accurate, and aligned with design specifications and client standards. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications to complete tasks efficiently. Coordinating with other trades (e.g., decorators, electricians, and plumbers) to maintain workflow and avoid delays. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, following all site health and safety procedures. Inspecting completed work to ensure quality, functionality, and adherence to building regulations.

Requirements:

Blue CSCS Card with NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery (preferably) Minimum of 5 years' experience in Carpentry preferred. Own tools and PPE. Ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail. Good communication and reliability are essential.
