Carpenter - Full-Time Position

BlackLeaf Build is seeking a skilled and reliable carpenter to join our growing team, working on high-end residential projects across [insert region/location]. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their craft, works well independently and within a team, and consistently delivers a top-tier finish.

You'll be involved in a wide range of works -- from structural first fix to detailed second fix and bespoke joinery. We're looking for someone who's experienced, punctual, and quality-driven, with a solid understanding of residential construction and a proactive approach on site.

Responsibilities

Carry out

first and second fix carpentry

to a high standard across a range of residential construction projects. Read and interpret

technical drawings and construction plans

accurately. Install

doors, windows, staircases, skirting, architraves

, and other timber features with precision. Construct and fit

bespoke joinery

items including wardrobes, alcove units, and cabinetry where required. Carry out structural tasks such as

floor joists, roof timbers, and stud walls

in line with engineering specifications. Work closely with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery. Maintain

clean and safe working areas

, adhering to site health & safety protocols at all times. Handle materials responsibly, ensuring

minimal waste

and accurate measurements. Ensure all work is completed

on time, to spec, and to a high finish

. Represent the company professionally on site, especially in

client-facing settings
