Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Carpenters to join our team on projects in Wiltshire/Hampshire area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work on diverse residential projects. You will be responsible for all aspects of carpentry, such as first & second fix, on-site joinery, and fitting off-site. Roofing would be helpful but not essential.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform joinery tasks to create custom furniture or fixtures as required. Assemble and install cabinets, shelves, doors, and windows. Use power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks. Fabricate wooden structures according to specifications and plans. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter is essential. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
PAYE or Self-Employed considered.
Immediate start available
Transport can be supplied.
