Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team self employed. We have lots of work in and around Cullompton, the work won't be everyday but as and when we need you perfect for someone who works for themselves or starting out on there own

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be proficient in using various tools and equipment. This role involves working on diverse projects where you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes. Conduct repairs on existing structures as needed. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians and masons to complete projects efficiently. Lift heavy materials as required for various tasks.

Experience

Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
