Job Description
:
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our roofing team on a self employed basis, (must be able to drive) providing support with all aspects of roofing projects. The role will involve cutting and fitting timber, assisting with roof structures, and working alongside roofers to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist roofers with fitting timber structures (joists, rafters, fascias, soffits, etc.) Carry out carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and fixing timber. Support the team with safe manual handling and material preparation. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Work to health & safety standards on site.
Requirements:
Previous carpentry/joinery experience. Ability to use hand and power tools confidently. Good teamwork and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
