Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work on a range of projects, from residential to commercial. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and fixtures according to specifications. Perform joinery tasks, ensuring precision in all measurements and cuts. Conduct painting and finishing work on completed projects to achieve the desired aesthetic. Carry out heavy lifting as necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. Install roofing systems, ensuring proper alignment and durability. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and materials, including the ability to plumb structures accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents. Excellent physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting tasks. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other tradespeople on-site. A valid driving licence will be mandatory for transportation purposes.
