We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Carpenter/multi-skilled tradesman on a self employed basis. This role requires a strong background in various construction techniques and the ability to work with a range of materials and tools. The ideal candidate will be proficient and experienced in resedential development including: extensions, refurbishments and new builds . This position is crucial for ensuring the successful completion of various projects, maintaining high standards of quality and safety. With a registered office in Faversham you will be required to attend sites throughout kent

Duties

Perform fabrication and assembly tasks using a variety of materials. Undertake construction activities on various sites throughout Kent Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks. Execute carpentry and joinery work as required on-site. Cooperate with health & safety requirements and site rules Undertake both first & second fix carpentry operations Engage in construction tasks to as a team and as an individual Carry out a range of construction tasks including but not limited to: Site setup, insulating, plasterboarding etc. Maintain a clean and safe work area and maintain a level of respect for the clients property. This role with include working in both habital and nonhabitated properties

Requirements

Must be self employed and CIS registered be able to provide your own transport and tools Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry and joinery. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various project requirements. Pay: 150.00-190.00 per day
