Responsibilities
Execute carpentry tasks with precision, including framing, flooring, and cabinetry. Perform a variety of multi-trade duties including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance. Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and provide solutions. Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and company standards. Assist in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to minimise disruption. Manage materials and inventory effectively to reduce waste and optimise resources.
Requirements
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or equivalent qualification in building trades. Proven experience as a carpenter or multi-trade technician. Strong understanding of construction methods and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driving license and ability to travel to various work sites. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. 15 mile radius to either Faversham, Kent or Gravesend, Kent.
