Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting experienced

Fire Door Carpenters

for upcoming projects across

West London

. Ideal for carpenters with solid

FD30/FD60 installation and remedial

experience on high-quality sites and occupied buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Installing, replacing and remediating

fire doors/doorsets (FD30/FD60)

to specification (BM TRADA/FIRAS standards). Remedials: hinges, locks/strikes,

closers

, glazing beads,

intumescent & cold-smoke seals

, thresholds and letterplates. Checking/rectifying

gaps & tolerances

and ensuring compartmentation around frames (approved packers, fire foam, mastic). Fitting compliant

ironmongery and signage

; reading door schedules and manufacturers' instructions. Recording works (photos & paperwork) and liaising with supervisors/tenants; maintaining a safe, tidy work area.

Requirements:

Blue CSCS

with

NVQ Level 2 (or 3) Carpentry & Joinery

(preferred). Proven

fire door install/remedial

experience (social housing, healthcare, education or commercial). Own tools & PPE (including router/morticers for ironmongery). Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

BM TRADA Q-Mark / FIRAS

competency preferred; full UK driving licence beneficial for multi-site work.
