Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting for two skilled Fire Door Carpenters to join a project in Leicester. This role is ideal for experienced carpenters who specialise in fire door installation and have a strong understanding of current safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver both corrective maintenance and new fire door installations within ongoing projects.
Ensure all fire doors are installed, tested, and maintained in line with the latest fire safety requirements.
Conduct precise on-site measurements and make adjustments for perfect fit and function.
Uphold strict compliance with all relevant fire regulations and quality standards.
Partner with project teams to ensure timely completion and excellence in all installations.
Requirements:
Blue CSCS Card with NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery (mandatory).
DBS Check -- preferred but not essential
Minimum of 5 years experience installing fire doors.
Strong knowledge of current fire door regulations and safety standards.
BM TRADA certification (preferred).
Must have own tools and the ability to work independently.
