Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting for a skilled Fire Door Carpenter to join a long-term project in Watford. This role is ideal for an experienced carpenter who specialises in fire door installation and has a strong understanding of current fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver both corrective maintenance and new fire door installations within ongoing projects. Ensure all fire doors are installed, tested, and maintained in line with the latest fire safety requirements. Conduct precise on-site measurements and make adjustments for perfect fit and function. Uphold strict compliance with all relevant fire regulations and quality standards. Partner with project teams to ensure timely completion and excellence in all installations.

Requirements:

Must have access to and be able to drive a van Blue CSCS Card with NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery (mandatory) Minimum of 5 years' experience installing fire doors Strong knowledge of current fire door regulations and safety standards BM TRADA certification (preferred) Must have own tools and be able to work independently
