Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a skilled carpenter/general all rounder. This role involves a variety of tasks related to construction and maintenance, requiring proficiency in multiple trades. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in fabrication, assembly, and the use of both hand and power tools. The ability to perform heavy lifting and work effectively in a team environment is essential. Must have own tools and transportation.

Responsibilities

Carry out fabrication and assembly tasks as per project specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction activities. Perform carpentry and joinery work, ensuring high-quality finishes and many other tasks to assist in completion of projects. Assist with roofing projects, including installation and repairs. Execute masonry work, such as bricklaying and blockwork, as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to standard. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, roofing and masonry. Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary for various projects. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: 173.35-230.28 per day

Work Location: In person
