We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves first and second fix carpentry, alongside kitchen installation and general associated works, ensuring high-quality workmanship in every project.
Responsibilities
Construct and assemble general first and second fix carpentry including frames, doors, windows, and furniture.
Use power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out joinery tasks.
Perform masonry work as required for specific projects.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
Carry out painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance of completed work.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace throughout the duration of each project.
Experience
Proven experience as a time served Carpenter is essential.
Proficient in using both power tools and hand tools relevant to joinery tasks.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical drawings and plans accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Able to read drawings and follow scopes of work.
A valid driving licence essential for travel between job sites
Transportation to be provided by company.
