Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a self employed Carpenter. This role requires a strong background in various construction and fabrication techniques, with the ability to work on diverse projects. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and detail-oriented, multitasking and able to work individually.

Duties

Perform fabrication tasks, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Assemble components and structures according to specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Engage in carpentry and joinery work, including the construction of frameworks and fittings. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required for project completion. Conduct construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. Assist with plumbing installations and repairs as needed. Apply electrical experience to assist with wiring and installations where necessary.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques with a keen eye for detail. Strong assembly skills Experienced in using hand tools and power tools safely. Knowledgeable in carpentry practices and joinery methods. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Competent in construction painting techniques for various surfaces. Basic plumbing skills for installation and maintenance tasks. Electrical experience is advantageous for assisting with installations.
The position is SELF EMPLOYED. The pay rate is based on the experience.
