Job Description

Wade Construction are looking to recruit a professional all round carpenter, with good knowledge and experience in the construction repairs sector. We are looking for highly skilled, customer focused operatives who will be involved in carrying out Repair Work & Maintenance in both void and occupied properties.

Experience in housing maintenance/repair would be desirable.

The successful candidate will be a talented carpenter tradesperson and must have excellent communication skills, outstanding customer service, a right first time approach and an in-depth working knowledge of a variety of housing repair works.

Must be willing to travel within West and East Midlands areas.

Must Have Essentials: -

CSCS Current Clean DBS (current certificate to be provided) Current Asbestos Awareness Certification (preferred) Own Tools and Equipment Safety shoes / boots Extensive Experience / Trade Qualifications References (will be checked)

Job Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years proven experience in residential property maintenance carpentry. Good understanding of carpentry first and second fix, including kitchen installation, hanging and repairing doors, joinery items such as framing, skirting, architrave, panelling, flooring ply, etc. additional skills would be advantage. Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength High ethical standards, willingness to learn and innovate, and exhibit mature judgement Proven track record of producing high quality work with highest level of customer satisfaction You must be an experienced carpenter

Carry out repairs and maintenance to both unoccupied and occupied properties using all high standard skills Schedule works and material requirements Compile and keep records To achieve and demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction To comply with our Health and Safety Procedures and legislation Ensuring a right first time approach High focus on a clean working environment and the protection of customer property at all times
