Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative (Social Housing - Voids)

36,000 per annum

The Opportunity:

We're looking for a skilled

Carpenter Multi-Trade Operative

to join our in-house repairs and maintenance team working on

void social housing properties

for a well-established housing association. This is a mobile role carrying out a mix of planned and responsive works to bring properties up to re-let standard.

Your Day-to-Day:

Carrying out

first and second fix carpentry

on void properties Minor

patch plastering and

tiling repairs

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, in line with health & safety regulations Working independently or as part of a team to meet completion deadlines Providing a professional and courteous service to residents, colleagues, and management Keeping digital job records up to date via a PDA/device

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a

multi-skilled carpenter

, ideally in a social housing environment Competence in basic plastering, tiling, and glazing Full UK driving licence (essential) NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Carpentry & Joinery (preferred) Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills Able to work within the void turnaround deadlines and to quality standards
