About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented carpenter to join our team, specialising in the production and installation of bespoke exhibition stands. This is a hands-on role requiring both workshop-based fabrication and on-site construction, ensuring high-quality finishes that reflect our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture bespoke exhibition stands, furniture, and components in our in-house workshop. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create precise, high-quality builds. Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and other equipment safely and effectively. Carry out on-site builds, installations, and dismantles to agreed deadlines. Work closely with designers, project managers to achieve seamless stand assembly. Maintain high standards of finish, craftsmanship, and attention to detail at all times. Ensure safe working practices both in the workshop and on site. Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modifications on existing stand components as required. Contribute to the overall upkeep, organisation, and cleanliness of the workshop.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a carpenter, ideally within the exhibitions, events, or shopfitting industries. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and finishing methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists. Competence in using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools. Experience working on-site. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments. Full driving licence.

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
