Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Carpenter. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry and construction-related tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both custom work and general handyman services. This role requires hands-on experience with a range of tools and techniques, making it essential for candidates to have a well-rounded skill set in carpentry and home maintenance.

Duties

Perform custom carpentry work with precision, ensuring quality standards are met Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various residential and commercial projects Engage in carpentry and joinery work, constructing frameworks, built-ins, and bespoke fittings as required Install flooring, decking, and outdoor structures ensuring durability and weatherproofing Conduct furniture assembly and repairs, moving materials and equipment safely Participate in kitchen and bathroom installations alongside other trades Complete partition wall construction and structural modifications Assist with general handyman tasks including minor plumbing and electrical work
Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry and joinery within a residential or commercial environment Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to the trade Strong skills in custom carpentry work; experience with kitchen installations is highly desirable Ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently including heavy lifting Familiarity with flooring installation techniques is an advantage Basic knowledge of other trades (plumbing, electrical) is beneficial; multi-trade skills are also a plus Full UK driving licence Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 170.00-200.00 per day
